Dublin's Monster Distributes has closed a number of animation deals following Mipcom, with international licences for Jungle Beat, Jasper Morello, Harvie Krumpet and other shows on its slate.
Zimbabwean toon Jungle Beat has sold to NRK Norway, DR Denmark, SBS Australia, SVT Sweden, YLE Finland, MICO Japan, Planete France, EBS Korea, Lagardere Middle East, ETV Estonia and World of Life in Russia as well as 11 airlines.
Half-hour special Jasper Morello has also been sold to Arte France, Canal Plus Poland, EBS Korea and TSR Switzerland. The Oscar-winner for Best Animated short film, Harvie Krumpet, has sold to the Sundance Channel in the US.
Other deals are for Bugtime Adventures: Good TV Taiwan, Pacific Singapore, BMCC Taiwan, World of Life Sweden and World of Life Russia have all picked up the series. Interactive animation Picme has sold to Medialink in the Middle East.
